The Makurdi-based side is third on the log on 60 points, one point adrift the Coal City lads and Kano Pillars, who are on 61 points apiece.

Tyavkase said they have been preparing for the encounter as a win will take them to the summit.

“We’ll stop Rangers in that game, we’ve been in camp these days preparing for the match.

“It’s a make-or-mar encounter, a victory will see us topple Rangers at the top and open up a rare opportunity for us to clinch the league title.

“After the Rangers tie, we’ll prepare for the mother of all battles at Kaduna United.

“It will be difficult and tough but we’ll be crowned champions in that game.

“This is our year of glory we won’t mess it up,” he told SuperSport.com.

The former Enyimba forward said Lobi are plotting to win the double this year.

“Of course, it’s possible we make it double. We’re positive of a win against Kano Pillars in the Federation Cup semifinal in Calabar and from there anything can happen,” he said.
