The hands-on workshop on knee replacement will hold with collaboration of AAP Implante Germany Genius Implants and Coscharis Medical Nigeria, said the hospital’s chief orthopaedic consultant, Dr Ikpeme Ikpeme.
Dr Ikpeme said the workshop targets orthopaedic surgeons, residents in orthopaedics, practising and intending ortho theatre nurses as well as physiotherapists in Nigeria and beyond, to enhance their knowledge in modern orthopaedic trends, especially in the area of implants and knee replacement.
The workshop carries 20 points in continuous practice development for participants, and is to be facilitated by an orthopaedic and trauma specialist from Ghana’s Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
