Achida died on Thursday, April 29, 2015 around 10:00a.m. shortly after writing his examination.
The death which came as a shock to the students cast a gloomy atmosphere and state of confusion in the institution.
One of his classmates, Abdul Rahman Lukman Olatunji, a 400l Economics student described the late Achida as a well-respected person.
He said that he noticed that during the examination, two of his friends accompanied him into the exam hall because he came to write his papers from the hospital.
A close friend of the late Achida, Ma’aji Akilu, who was in company of other friends that brought him to school said Achida had fallen ill and was admitted at the hospital for close to two weeks before his death.
Achida is an indigene of Achida in Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto State. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
