The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Adamu Aliero, who flagged off the exercise to sanitise the campus, was led by the club members to distribute the buckets and hand washes in the school.
Aliero said water is important and needs to be conserved through judicious use of the amenity. “Water that can be used by 20 people should not be put into waste and for us not to contaminate our food with the attendant health challenges we need to wash our hands severally as cleanliness is next to Godliness,” he said.
The club members were led by the Student Union Government chairman, Al- Amin Musa and the supervising chairman of hall administration in UDUS who also participated in the exercise.
The participants visited both male and female hostels and distributed the items to students.
