Former Minister of Transportation, Alhaji Umaru Dikko has passed on this morning at the age of 78.Dikko, according his private secretary, Mallam Shehu Suleiman died at the early hours of today at a UK based hospital.
In a phone interview, he said the corpse of the late elder statesman is expected to be flown to the country tomorrow, Wednesday.
Dikko who is survived by 11 children and two wives was at the twilight of the regime of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as PDP national chairman appointed the chairman of the party’s disciplinary committee.
