A business mogul, Dr. Umaru Mutallab has assumed as the new chancellor of Umaru Musa Yaradua University (UMYU) after his investiture at the 2nd convocation ceremony of the university.
Consequently, the new chancellor was conferred with an honorary Doctorate Degree of Business by the university.
The visitor and governor of Katsina Aminu Masari described Mutallab as a worthy son of the state who has seen it all and has the capacity to advance thew fortune of the university.
Responding, Mutallab thanked the governor and the university management for finding him worthy of appointment and called on all to support as he promised to do all within the arm bit of law to develop the institute.
