StarTimes and the United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) are working together to sustain enlightenment on HIV/AIDS eradication by 2030.
A statement from StarTimes said the partnership was tailored towards using the digital pay-TV network to reach millions of people with messages on HIV prevention across African networks.
According to the statement, UNAIDS has produced two short videos that promote the life-cycle approach to HIV prevention – finding HIV solutions for everyone, at every stage of life.
“StarTimes is a major digital television operator licensed to broadcast in 30 countries across Africa. No one should be left behind by this AIDS response,” the statement read.
The United Nations, through UNAIDS, leads and inspires the world to achieve its shared vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths.
