Undeliverable postal items worry NIPOST

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has said it is worried over the rising number of postal items in its custody.
The country’s postal service, in a statement signed by its corporate affairs manager at the weekend, said many items could not be delivered to their desired destinations in Abuja and its environs within the advertised time frame because of incorrect and insufficient addresses.
“Several attempts made at getting mails and items that comprised mostly of academic certificates from foreign institutions of higher learning were unsuccessful owing to insufficient addresses.
“Any resident of the (Abuja) metropolis who was expecting one mail or the other is therefore advised to visit NIPOST office at Area 10, Garki, Abuja with concrete and verifiable identification”, Mr Taye Olaniyi said in the statement.
