The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has unfolded an integrated community stabilization package aimed at 1.8 million displaced persons in the Northeast. This was contained in the UNDP’s report that was released at the weekend by the UNCP Regional Coordinator, Mr. Joerg Kuehnel. According to the Coordinator, the community stabilization package will tackle the acute recovery needs of the displaced persons in the camps and host communities.
