An online business group, Sky Combabs Nigeria Limited, is training University of Benin (UNIBEN) students on how to become on line entrepreneurs.
Ajayi Adebayor of Sky Combabs said a seminar tagged ‘Business Empowerment Invasion’ was organised to train students to make legitimate businesses and money on-line.
He said: “I discovered internet business long ago and chose to come to the university environment to train students free of charge.
“We need to let the students know these things. Instead of wasting time chatting on Facebook, Whatsapp and BBM; convert those megabytes into dollars.”
Adabayor explained that Facebook was a fertile ground to make genuine business.
A 500 level student, Samuel Ugwumba, said the seminar was effective.
