The University of Jos Alumni Association (UJAA) has commenced the construction of a multi-million naira multi-purpose centre at the university.
Speaking at Naraguta Campus, UJAA President, Alhaji Idris Yakubu, said the centre would have a Lecture Hall with 300 seats, shops, bookshops, offices and an ample parking space to accommodate over 200 vehicles.
He said the centre would be a major contribution by the alumni to raise the profile of the university.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong said the building would boast academic activities.
