Some students of the University of Jos Plateau State have presented a roadmap to peaceful coexistence in Jos the state capital to stakeholders and residents of the city.

The students took turns to present their research findings to the audience and also answered pertinent questions from members of the audience.
Zaman Tare (Living Together) project (with CAFOD, CARITAS Nigeria and DREP Center as partners) in conjunction with UniJos and funded by the European Union, were the organizers of the programme.
Speaking at the event, the Dean Faculty of Arts in the university, Prof. Sati Fwatshak, said 12 students were involved in the exercise, and that such research will help to boost the peace of the state and the nation.
Speaking on behalf of the researchers, Lucky Dung Pam of the Department of Religion and Philosophy, said election/politics is one of the major contributors to the Jos crisis, adding that most religious leaders influence their followers to vote for candidates they chose for them.
