The University of Lagos (Unilag) has announced the expulsion of 57 students over various offences including academic misconducts.
The dismissal took effect from December 22, 2015 to February 18, 2016.
Deputy Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Oghenekaro Ogbinaka, said most of the dismissed students were either engaged in examination malpractice or used forged results to gain admission into the institution.
Faculty of Social Science topped the list with 19 students, Business Administration, 16 and Education six.
