The Vice Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGanniy Ambali, explained that the ‘One Student, One PC Tablet’ policy of the institution is to make the students active players in the age of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
He urged them to make judicious use of the devices for the purpose of e-learning and to access academic information and not frivolous uses.
One of the recipients, Ganiyu  Oluwamayowa, a 100level student of Mathematics Education said it is a wonderful development that will not only afford him opportunity to be conversant with online information, but also widen his knowledge in his field of study.
Another beneficiary, Olaitan Giwa from the Faculty of Agriculture, said that the tablet will enable her to get information online to complement what is being taught in class. She urged the school management to make the Wi-Fi facilities more accessible to all students in the school.    
Issa AbdulRahman of the same faculty also aligned with Giwa’s adding that the inability to access PDF files with non-smart phones can be now be remedied with the PC tablets.
