The National Union of Bayelsa State Students (NUBSS) has asked students to disregard rumor about increase in school fees at the Niger Delta University and warned them against a planned protest.  

The president, Comrade Ozu Important, in a statement in Yenagoa also blamed mischief makers for the purported increase in fees.

He said, "We have cross-checked with the school authority and we can say it without any contradiction that there is no increment in school fees, it is a false alarm being raised by some expired political forces."
