SSACTAC President Comrade M.A. Yunusa stated this in Abuja recently where he said reforms in the power, postal, telecommunications, railways, housing, manpower development, maritime and ports sectors need to be well planned out and executed for the benefits of all Nigerians.
“So far, the privatization processes in power and telecommunications are yet to achieve much, except the clear handing over of our joint patrimonies at little or no costs to the favoured high and mighty among us.
“We should improve services while creating jobs directly or indirectly as the case in other developed economies. Let us warn that the approval of partial commercialization of NIPOST must move clear from the disturbing past and build a new NIPOST in terms of infrastructure and staff to meet our needs.”  
Comrade Yunusa said that the roads and the railways must be given positive attention if the country wants to be among the great economic power in the 21st century.
