The Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employee (AUPCTRE) has elected Mr Benjamin Anthony as its President, along with 13 other National Officers to lead the union.
General-Secretary of AUPCTRE, Mr Yusuf Zanbuk made the disclosure in a statement issued in Abuja.
He said the new president, who will oversee the affairs of the union for the next four years, emerged following an election which held at end of the 6th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference of AUPCTRE, in Ibadan.
According to the statement, Benjamin scored 203 votes to emerge as the new President, while Solomon Adelegan who came second scored 191 and four void votes were recorded.
