The Chairman of Committee for the Directors of Works and Physical Planning of Nigerian Universities (CDWPPNU), Mohammed Aminu Sambo, has called on authorities to pay particular attention to works and planning. 

Sambo, in a statement, said the importance of works and planning unit in universities cannot be over emphasized and hence the need to call on the vice chancellors to accord all the support the planning units required.

 He said the association would hold an annual general meeting between October 31 and 3rd November 3. The meeting would come up with practical strategies of ensuring that all directorates of works and physical planning of universities live up to their vision and mandate.
