Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Professor Joseph Eberendu Ahaneku, has said students who miss 75 per cent of lectures will not be allowed to take exams.
He stated this at the thanksgiving ceremony of the out-going Dean of Faculty of Management Sciences recently. He said lecture attendance determines good academic performance and that students who skip 75 per cent of lectures Would forfeit examinations. Prof. Ahaneku said that the university has stopped the issuance of a ‘pass grade,’ enjoining all students to study hard in order to come out with good grades.
