A court has begun delivering judgement in a N1.64 billion fraud against former Taraba state governor Jolly Nyame.

Justice Adebukola Banjoko entered the court long after it was packed full.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, which has been prosecuting Nyame, got Leke Atolagbe as legal counsel.

It has presented 14 witnesses in its case against Nyame.

Nyame has been represented by Olalekan Ojo.

The case against Nyame started in 2007, but hearing did not begin until 2010.
