Ahead of today’s defection of former Governor of Kano state, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau from the All Progressive Congress (APC), his supporters are wielding logo of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

The former governor is holding a meeting with stakeholders of ANPP from across Kano state.

Our correspondent reports that at the meeting which is ongoing at his palatial residence in Mundubawa road, Kano, his supporters are chanting PDP. 
At the end of the meeting, Shekarau will decamp from APC.
