A Member House of Representative, representing Mashi/Dutsi Federal constituency, Mansur Ali Mashi has called on the Federal ministry of Education to take over the state government owned Government Technical college Mashi by converting it to one of its Federal Government Science and Technical college.
Speaking with Daily Trust, Mashi said this will enhance the schools reputation having for over 52 years being serving as state government owned technical college.
According to him, taking over will further boost it services given the fact that Katsina as a state has only on Federal Science and Technical college based in Dayi, Malumfashi noting that ‘ this will complement the state government efforts in improving education across the state’.
He said, upgrading it will further unify the country as people from far and wide will come to seek knowledge adding that Katsina moreover is a peaceful and loving state that accommodates all.
