Urban planning dept sends off retired director

Obi had attained the compulsory retirement age of 60 on February 8, 2014. His retirement took effect then.
Many described the retired deputy director as a successful technocrat.
The Director of Urban and Regional Planning, FCDA, Alhaji Ishola Salami said Obi left the public service without blemish.
“He contributed his quota. When time for retirement came, he retired gracefully; a professional to the core,” Ishola observed stressing that the retired officer has left a big legacy.
He charged staff of the department to work collectively as a team and put in their best for the benefit of society.
The retired deputy director thanked his former colleagues for the honour done him, charging them to be upright in all they do.
Mrs Felicia Anthony, the Public Relations Officer of the department said the services of the former director will still be needed because he is man of huge professional acumen.
