Chairman Urban Shelter Ltd., Mal. Ibrahim Aliyu has said that in the 25 years of its existence, the company has garnered credibility and capability as a real estate developer in Nigeria’s property market.
Aliyu, who chaired the annual staff award and recognition night at the weekend, said Urban Shelter was declared the most credible developer in Nigeria in 2015 because patrons of the company are always confident that they would get value for their money by investing in Urban Shelter products.
He said though the years 2012 and 2013 were difficult, he expressed optimism that the worst appears to be over, thanks to the new management at Urban Shelter headed by the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Saadiya Aliyu.
The chairman reiterated that Urban Shelter remains a property development and management company committed to quality and timely delivery of projects, producing homes that are a distinctive combination of aesthetics and modesty.
Urban Shelter Chief Operation Officer, Saadiya Aliyu, in her remarks at the event, said since coming on board, she had conducted internal reorganisation of the company and is tackling issues confronting the state of housing and real estate in Nigeria, and proffering the way forward for the company in the years ahead.
She said, “Evident in every of our projects is our attention to detail, form and function, and addressing the salient issues, needs, complaints and problems that confront clients and potential customers in the real estate market.”.
Rilwan Salihu Aliyu, Chairman Award Organising Committee and AGM (Affordable Housing), said 20 members of staff benefitted from the award which included long service award, best project manager award and most productive staff, among others.
