The certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who is on faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee said the team would undertake surgeries in some states in the northern part of the country that are having medical challenges.
Gbulie told Daily Trust in a telephone interview that the surgeries would include simply to plastic and reconstructive surgeries where applicable.
He said he is not yet sure of the states the team would visit as it depend on the needs of the people that want assistance.
According to him, he was part of a medical team that was in Nigeria in February and carried out some surgeries in Lagos but would now move up to the north in the next mission.
 Dr. Gbulie is certified both by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
