With just days to go until United States Election Day, presidential hopefuls and their surrogates blitz across the country in final push to woo voters, amid tightening polls.

Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are due to campaign in Florida today. The state is seen as a battleground that could tip the election.

The race has become more tightened three days to the election night with the latest polls a little more favourable to Trump, but Clinton still holds a clear advantage.

The CNN electoral map shows Clinton drops below 270 while trump has moved ahead to 203 with about 37 million early votes recorded.

At International Mall Branch Library, Doral in Florida, Republican Donald Trump supporters, carried placards with various inscriptions like “Make America Great Again,” “Deplorable Catholic Women for Trump,” “Women for Trump”, calling Hillary Clinton an illegal candidate in top gear.

They said Clinton is unfit to be president because she was nominated through a corrupt process.

“Hillary stole the mandate from Bennie Sanders through a system called super delegate which a corrupt trigging. She is an illegal candidate running for president because Sanders won the popular vote,” said Alejandro Logo.

He, however, described Trump as a “peacemaker,” saying he’s poised to bring peace to the world.

“He has been talking about how to come to a negotiation table with Russia to bring peace to the world. But Hillary talks otherwise, she’s talking about nuclear war,” he said.

Logo accused the media of being critical of Trump. “Every word that Trump pronounces, the media twist it.”

Trump, he said, is running not against Hillary but against American sorrows and the corruption of the Obama administration.

“Our politicians don’t know anything about businesses. They have corrupted our country. Trump is an entrepreneur. He turns old buildings to new ones.

“I’m a scientist. I cannot find a job in Miami because all the factories of Miami are now in China and other countries.

“Trump is going to lower the taxes from 33% to 10%. That money is going back to circulation but not to the politicians,” Logo said.

Mr Trump, meanwhile, told a crowd of supporters in New Hampshire that his rival wants a "550% increase" on Syrian refugees allowed into the US.

“This country allows one million legal immigration every year. We cannot allow two types of immigration – legal and illegal. We should only have legal. And that is what Trump is saying,” a Republican supporter shouted, using a mega phone.

“She wants us to have a terrorists as our next neighbour. Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country that is even richer than us but does not have the initiative to bring their Muslim brothers into their territorial land,” he said.

When asked about the first thing he wants Mr Trump to do if he becomes president, he said, “He’s going to build the wall to prevent Mexican drug lords from gaining entry into US.

“We don’t want hard drugs, we want our children to walk in a safe city without drug.”
