Twenty-two year old, Usman Musadiq Oladimeji has emerged as the best graduating student at Rhema University (RU) Aba, Abia State in the 2019 convocation ceremony of the institution.

Usman received awards including “Merit Award as VC’s prize as the Overall Best Graduating Student in Rhema University in the 2017/2018 academic year.

He was also the Best Graduating Student from the College of Basic and Applied Sciences in the year. His performance at the department of Chemical Sciences was a logical progression to an equally impressive record at Rhema University, the authorities said.

Usman by virtue of his 4.93 cumulative grade point average (CGPA) in Chemistry (First Class) is now recognized as a pace setter and record holder as no previous best graduating student reached that level.

While lauding the Chancellor of the university, Emma Okorie, the graduand said he contributed much to his academic pursuit.

“My gratitude knows no bound. I know for a fact that my success story cannot be told without attributing a big part of it to the vision bearer of LWM and Chancellor RU. Thank you sir for changing the narratives,” he noted.

He encouraged other students to be highly focused and disciplined in order to become achievers, then only can they compete favourably standing tall anywhere they find themselves.
