Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has been commended for ongoing infrastructure and urban renewal projects in the state.
The commendation came from Dr. Cliff Ogbede, Executive Director in charge of Natural Resources, Agriculture and Rural Development at the South East Development Commission (SEDC), during a media interaction in Abuja over the weekend.
Ogbede highlighted key projects, including the Assumpta Flyover, the International Conference Centre named after the late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the dualization of major access roads into Owerri, and the reconstruction of the Imo Concorde Hotel.
“These projects have significantly changed the outlook of Owerri and improved the state’s infrastructure,” Ogbede said.
He also noted ongoing investments in the power sector aimed at improving electricity supply across Imo State.
Ogbede urged the governor to sustain his focus on development and continue efforts to improve the living standards of citizens.
