Omonia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has said the Europa League clash against Manchester United is the best game of his career so far.

The Super Eagles keeper made a total of 12 saves in the match, putting in an inspired display against the team he supports.

“Arguably the game is my best in my career. I am proud of my team mates as we gave our best. I am proud of my performance as well,” he said.

The Nigeria shot stopper said it was a dream through come for him to play in Old Trafford as he is a long-time fan of Manchester United.

“I am not disappointed as we had a great game but I would have preferred to leave with a point. It is not an easy stadium to play with the bi players. I am just happy.

“It is a dream come through for me. It is has been my dream for a log time. When I saw the draws that we will play at the Old Trafford, I prayed to God to give me the opportunity to play and it happened.

He further told Cristiano Ronaldo that it was “an honour” to play against him last week Thursday.

The pair exchanged a smile in a brief encounter, a moment that Uzoho shared on his Instagram account.

Alongside a picture of the pair, he wrote: “A dream come through. It’s an honour to share the same field with you el Bicho. IN CHRIST ALL”
