A private hospital in Abuja is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position.
1. Consultant Radiologist
Requirements
– Recognized Medical degree MBBS (or equivalent).
– Full registration with MDCN with current licence to practice in Nigeria.
– Specialist Radiology qualification with WACS (or equivalent).
– At least three (3) years post fellowship experience.
– At least one (1) year post fellowship experience in cross-sectional imaging.
– Experience in general abdominal and small part scanning is mandatory.
– DVT and other peripheral Doppler ultrasound experience.
– Able to carry out neonatal brain ultrasound.
– Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
– Proficient in working with Hospital Information System (HIS) or Radiology Information System (RIS).
– Proficient in Fluoroscopic examinations.
– Proficient in IT skills Desirable skills
– Experience working with PACS.
– Interventional Radiology experience.
– Urology Doppler Ultrasound experience.
– Competent at biopsy and drainage with both CT and US guidance.
2. Senior Registrar – Radiology
– Ability to confidently report a wide range of plain radiographs
– Proficient in fluoroscopic investigations
– Knowledge and experience working with CT, MRI, Mammography.
– Proficient in a wide range of ultrasound scans including small parts
– Ability to teach others.
3. Senior Radiographers
Requirements
– Must possess a Bachelor (Hons) qualification in Diagnostic Radiography.
– Full registration with Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria with current practicing licence is essential.
– Post- graduate qualification in CT/MRI/US scanning to MSc level is desirable.
– Post-graduate experience of not less than 2 consecutive years in crosssectional Radiography is essential.
– Extensive knowledge of CT and MRI scanning protocols and techniques.
– Able to work alone and also as part of a team.
– Must demonstrate high organisational skills.
– Must be able to work to a high standard, both technically and in patient care even under pressure.
– Knowledge and experience of working with HIS or RIS.
– Willingness to work flexibly including unsocial hours and weekends.
4. Senior Registrars – Anaesthesia
Requirements
– Candidates for this position must have passed part one examination of the National Post-Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of Physicians /Surgeons or their equivalents.
– All candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license.
5. Medical Officers
– Anaesthesia Requirements
– Diploma in Anaesthesia will be an added advantage.
– All candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license.
6. Registered Nurses (ICU, Theatre, Anaesthetist)
Requirements
– All candidates must be fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license.
7. Head, Procurement Unit
Requirements
– Candidates for this position must possess a first degree in Purchasing and Supply or any other related field from any recognized University/Polytechnic.
– Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years working experience in similar capacity preferably in the health care industry.
– Knowledge of any ERP package for stock handling/monitoring is essential
– Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage. 8. Procurement Officers Requirements

9. Import Documentation and Clearance Officer
Requirements
– Candidate must be conversant with importation processes.
– Candidate must be conversant with import documentation procedures; getting valid proforma invoice, opening Form M and liaising with the Account department and the bank to open Letters of credit.
– The candidate must be able to follow up shipments from the suppliers and ensure prompt clearance from the ports with all necessary logistics arrangement to ensure successful delivery to the organisation.
– The candidate must ensure that all statutory regulations in importation of goods and services in the country are observed.
– Degree in any social science with a minimum of 5 year s in import documentation/ Clearance/ shipping functions.
All candidates for the above positions must be good team players; they must also possess good interpersonal skills. Computer knowledge is a MUST.
