Actionaid Nigeria (AAN) is a not for profit, non-governmentatl entity registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission. It commenced operations in Nigeria in 1999, while the programmatic operations commenced in January 2000 through a Country Agreement signed with the National Planning Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
To assist in human capital development, experience building of fresh graduates and individuals interested in the development sector, Actionaid Nigeria has come up with an internship programme as a training tool. AAN is therefore, inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of interns.
Eligibility:
Fresh graduates without post NYSC experience
Candidates with experience in other sectors who desire development sector experience
Candidates must not be above 30 years of age
Duration:
One year fixed term non renewable contract
Person Specifications:
Education/Qualifications: Degree in any field of study is essential
Experience: Completion of NYSC is essential
Skills/Abilities
Strong communications and writing skills is essential
Good computer skills is essential
Ability to travel on short notice is essential
Ability to adapt to changing job descriptions, deliver on given targets and willingness to learn are essential
Personal Qualities: A person of integrity who is able to work in a diverse team environment

Pharmaceutical Company
a. Sales Supervisor: Managing the different sales team, ideal candidate must be a pharmacist, under 30 years, male or female, with at least 3-4 years experience as a medical rep in a reputable pharmaceutical organization.
Candidate should have at least four years experience as a medical rep/senior medical rep, with demonstrable potential to become a manager of a sales team.
b. Medical Reps: Candidates are required in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Enugu and Benin. They should be under 30 years, male or female, with a good science based first degree in pharmacy, nutrition, pharmacology, microbiology etc. Should have proven success in the field with good experience and exposure.
c. Drivers: Must have good and verifiable experience of driving in the Lagos metropolis. Must have at least an SSCE with a valid driver’s licence. Must be between 25 – 35 years and must be resident within Ikeja and environs.

Nutrition Business of Poultry, Canned and Seafood
a.Hatchery Production Supervisors (day & night shift duties): Candidates should posses  4 years experience in supervising hatchery unit operations, cleaning out sheds, co-ordinating and analysing unit performance, operating specialized poultry plant, machinery and equipment, fumigating poultry sheds, setting up shedding for day old chickens.
Qualifications;  BSC/HND in Livestock Mgt, Poultry Mgt, Agric Engineering, Extenston and Animal Husbandry.
b.Hatchery Maintenance Supervisor — mechanical: Candidates should have, 4 years experience with Mechanical equipment and or power plant mechanical systems including Unit auxiliary systems cooling water, Standby diesel generators, Poultry hatchery mechanical equipment.
Qualifications:  BSC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
c.Hatchery Maintenance Supervisor — electrical: Candidates should have 4 years Experience in supervising proper functioning of venous Electrical Installations such as Diesel Gen-Set, Air Conditioners, Hatchery Machines, Electric Motors & Cables, Ensuring Power Supply to Hatchery, Poultry Sheds, Feed Mill, Broiler Farm. General Supervision/Maintenance of all Electrical related Installations.
Qualifications: BSC/HND Electrical Engineering
d. Accountant, accounts executive (senior) & cashier: 3 years Experience in Management of Hatchery Accounts. BSC/HND Accountancy, For Cashier, 2 years Experience in Cash Handling.
