The Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Professor Seth Accra Jaja, has tasked students of the institution to use knowledge and skills to serve public good.
Prof. Jaja made the announcement at the seventh matriculation of the institution. He said 2,602 students were admitted to pursue various academic programmes in six faculties for the 2017/2018 academic year. He urged the students to see the matriculation as the beginning of their academic pursuit in the institution and to ensure that the training they acquired disconnected them from street behaviours, and connected them with those behaviours that would be beneficial to Nigeria.
