The senator representing Kaduna Central, Uba Sani, has distributed food items and essential materials worth N10million to victims of banditry attacks in three local government areas of the state.

The victims are from Kerawa and Birnin Yero communities in Igabi Local Government Area and those from Buruku in Chikun and Birnin Gwari local government areas.

Commiserating with the victims, Senator Sani said the relief materials would lessen the pains caused by attacks.

He expressed dismay that despite strenuous efforts by the Kaduna State Government and security agencies, bandits are still holding sway, maiming and killing people and destroying properties with recklessness.

He, however, assured them that the administration of Malam Nasir el-Rufai would never succumb to the blackmail and evil machinations of the bandits and their sponsors, adding that the government is determined to win the war against banditry and kidnapping.
