The All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat along Port Harcourt-Aba road has been shattered with explosives suspected to be dinamite.
Our reporter learnt that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
The explosion brought down the gate of the secretariat, while doors, windows and other property were destroyed.
This is the second time the Chief Tony Okocha led APC would experience such attack at the secretariat this year.

This came as the local government election began in the state on Saturday (today). The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission had said on Friday that all sensitive materials had been distributed to the various LGAs.
A viral video of the explosion seen by our reporter shows some workers at the facilities going round to ascertain the extent of damage.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the state Police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, said she had yet to get a report on the incident.
The APC was yet to make a statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report
