A member of the Edo State Security Network, Abraham Momoh, has been arrested by the police over an alleged attempt to kill at the Hausa Market in Uromi in Esan Central LGA.
The Edo State Police Command’s spokesman, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, said the police received information that the suspect, in company of four other vigilantes, went to the Hausa Market to arrest some suspects without recourse to the police and that in the process, the suspect shot into the air to prevent being mobbed and in the process injured three people.
Chidi gave the names of the injured victims as Nasiru Abdullahi, Aminu Hassan and Jacob Endurance.
