Vigilante group wants speedy passage of bill

The Commander General of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), Alhaji Usman Mohammad Jahun, has urged legislators to pass the bill for an Act to establish the Vigilante Group of Nigeria to encourage its members and also appease families and relatives who had lost someone to the fight against insurgency.

Jahun said the passage of the bill would provide succour to families of over 1,000 vigilante members killed in the North East.
