Ajiga succeeds Dr. Bamidele Makanjuola who after years of meritorious service will retire from the same office on September 30, 2012.

Mr. Ajiga’s appointment as Managing Director of the company will take effect from October 1, 2012 while Mr. Taiwo Adeniyi’s appointment  as executive director took effect from July 26, 2012.
According to Chief S. O. Bolarinde Chairman of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, both of them would be bringing on board, invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience.
While thanking Makanjuola for his exemplary leadership, Bolarinde charged the in-coming managing director to take the company to greater heights.
Ajiga, who has served the company for over twenty-one years, joined the services of Vitafoam as a Production Manager in 1991.
 An expert in engineering/production coordination in the business, he rose through the ranks to become the Technical Director of the company in 2008, the position he held until his appointment as the Managing Director.
Mr. Ajiga, an alumnus of University of Benin has also attended various executive programmes at McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA and Lagos Business School (Pan-African University, Lagos) among others.
Mr. Taiwo Adeniyi, a National Productivity Order of Merit Award winner in recognition of his immense percentage contribution to the Gross Domestic Product of the country in 2010 joined Vitafoam Nigeria Plc in 2007.
A versatile and courageous professional, Taiwo is an alumnus of the Universities of Lagos, Nigeria and Warwick, United Kingdom with M.Scs. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Supply Engineering and Logistics respectively. He was before his appointment, the manufacturing manager of the company.
