The voting which started around 1:30 pm after accreditations has ended and counting in now taking place in all 17 local government areas of Yobe state.

Our correspondent reports that the voting exercise was conducted peacefully without hitches across the state.

Presiding officers and polling agents of various political parties are busy counting results while voters awaited to hear the final outcome.

At the INEC collation centre Damaturu, no result sheet had so far arrived from all the polling units in the capital city.
