Architect Adenowo, who gave the charge at the foundation’s 2015held in Lagos recently, implored every citizen of the country to contribute their quota in nation-building, especially during the year’s election.
She enjoined all to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card in order to exercise their civic duty by voting their conscience.
She implored Nigerians to wake up from apathy and take their destiny in their hands. She warned voters to abstain from being paid by corrupt politicians for endorsement, as such an act would attract the wrath of God.
Beyond her thought-provoking teachings and insights on the impact of leadership on national building, she invited Jimi Tewe and Steve Harris, both consultants and role models amongst the youth, to join their voice with hers in the charge but also in prayers.
The summit was well-attended by people from all walks of life. In attendance were Mr. Korede Adenowo, Managing Director, Regional Head of Financial Institutions for West and Central Africa a Standard Chartered Bank, Mrs. Bimpe Bamgbose Martins, President of Strategy for Mentoring Initiative and Leadership Empowerment (S.M.I.L.E), Justice Oke Lawal and Justice Sola Williams, Lagos State judges and ATF Board of Trustees members.
Others are Tara Fela-Durotoye, CEO of House of Tara International, Jimi Tewe CEO of Inspiro Consulting, Steve Harris Managing Consultant, Edge-Ecution, Emmy Madubuko, wife of the Founder of Revival Assembly Church and the summit was compered by Ufuoma Ejenobor McDermott, Nollywood Actress, Presenter and Model.
Participants and members of the foundation who shared their feedback ,commented on the impact of the work on their orientation and the relevance of Non Partisan and non-denominational platforms in leadership development for National renaissance.
