The general voter apathy in Nasarawa State has led to early completion of voting, and by extension counting of result to lead to early collation.

Voter turnout was poor, leading to early completion of accreditation, and early commencement of voting in most of the polling units visited.

The development saw voting completed early with counting in parts of the state, including Keffi and Akwanga, Daily Trust can report.

In Keffi, Government College polling unit of Angwan Rimi was one of the first to see early completion of voting and counting, with presiding officers already heading to collation centres for governorship, as well as the two house of assembly seats of Keffi-East, and Keffi-West as at 4pm.
