Confusion broke out at a polling unit in  Tukuntawa area of Kano state on Saturday when voters booed soldiers who stormed a polling unit in the area.

Our correspondent reports that when the voters started booing the soldiers, they responded in like manner.

As a result of the reaction of the soldiers, the voters hurled stones at them.

The soldiers arrested some of the voters but minutes later normalcy returned to the area and voting has since resumed.
