W/Africa drug commission end meet in Nigeria

The delegation which would be led by Mr. Edem Kodjo, a former Prime Minister of Togo and Secretary General of the defunct Organisation of African Unity (OAU).
In a statement made available to Daily Trust in Lagos by the
programme’s Coordinator, Ms Araba Arhin, the delegate’s visit which began on Wednesday would be concluded today.
The former Togolese Prime Minister will be accompanied by Dr. Mary Chinery-Hesse, a retired senior UN official and member of the AU’s Panel of the Wise from Ghana, and Dr. Adeolou Ogunrombi, a Nigerian public health specialist on drug policy.
The statement further added that prior to this time; the WACD group had visited Senegal, Ghana, Guinea Bissau and Mali, and has been combining experts’ fact-finding reports which are part of the fact-finding phase of the WACD’s work plan.
