The discoveries came on the heels of the high cost of fertiliser and other agro-inputs which has forced many farmers to either seek alternative means for their farms or reduce their cultivated lands.
The acting Managing Director of the council, Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, in a statement by the spokesperson of the council, Musbahu Yakasai, while commending the efforts of patriotic citizens in the areas where the discoveries were made, further called on them not to relent in providing the council with credible information about such unscrupulous people and their businesses.
