The World Veterinary Association (WAV) has awarded $5,000 scholarships to 41 veterinary students from 27 countries including Aminu Abdulsalam, a 300 Level student of the University of Abuja.

WAV announced the winners at the 34th World Veterinary Congress which held in Barcelona, Spain, where 400 applications for the MSD Animal Health/WVA scholarships were received and reviewed, a statement said.

The scholarship was meant to help the students to pursue their undergraduate studies and research.
