Former governor of Lagos state and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the APC is on a rescue mission to liberate Nigerians from the rot that the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has put them through.

Tinubu made the remarks today at the Ribadu Square in Jimeta-Yola during a rally organized by the All Progressive Congress APC in Yola, Adamawa state.

“The strength of the APC is in the hands of every Nigerian, together we will bury the lies, the corruption, and the filth of the PDP. Let us celebrate our success, so we can rebuild Nigeria together” Tinubu said.

Also speaking at the ceremony, a former PDP chairman Chief Audu Ogbeh said the number one priority of the APC is to create jobs for the teeming Nigerian youths. This he said is a panacea for them to boast of a secured future.

A former Governor of Bayelsa state Chief Timipreye Sylva said “The country has not done well under us (Niger Delta). The Nigerian ship is sinking under the leadership of the present administration. The Niger Delta people are ready to join hands with the rest of Nigeria to build this country under the leadership of the APC.”

Dignitaries that graced the occasion included the National Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande, Danjuma Goje, Ahmad Sani Yarima Bakura, Muhammadu Koiranga Jada, Nuhu Ribadu, Buba Marwa and Engineer Marcus Gundiri.
