We increased 2018 budget with Executive approval — Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna Central,on Wednesday confirmed that the National Assembly increased the amount of the 2018 budget to N9.120 trillion from N8.612 trillion with due consultation with the executive.

The Chairman of the committee, Sen. Danjuma Goje, on Tuesday laid the report before the Senate in plenary, six months after it was presented by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The senator in a tweet said,"It’s true that the 2018 budget was jerked up from its original 8.6 trillion to 9.1 trillion.That happened in close consultations and agreement between the National Assembly led by the Approriation committee and the Executive.The commitee confirmed this,".
