Yuguda had penultimate week promised to deliver Bauchi for PDP. But the APC campaign organization said the governor could not deliver on his senatorial ambition not to talk of delivering the state for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate President Goodluck Jonathan.
The campaign organization through its Twitter handle ‘Bauchi For Barrister’ posted by Mansur Manu Soro  said Yuguda would inevitably face humiliation at the polls right in his local government and be forced to go into political retirement by Bauchi people come March 28 and April 11.
However, Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the governor Malam Danlami Baban Takko said, “Yuguda had already become a political force and of Bauchi State who is capable of achieving whatever he wants to achieve politically once he sets his mind on it in the state.
“Anybody thinking of sending Yuguda to retirement from politics is a joker or day dreamer, because Yuguda has already become a political icon, father and decider of Bauchi politics because of his generosity, performance, support and giant strides to ensure the well-being of Bauchi People.”
