The Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Abuja, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, has called on parents to support his administration in order to promote girl-child education in the area.
Speaking at a meeting with executives of the council’s Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in his office on Tuesday, he noted that education is among the best legacies every parent can give to their children.
He said the legacy would ensure that the children contribute to the development of the society.
“Let us join hands to support the education of our children, including that of the girl-child,” he said.
