We must sweep away looters of our common patrimony – APC youth leader

APC National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, at the weekend charged the youths to ensure the ruling party remains in power in 2023 “to continue the important task of sweeping away the looters of our joint patrimony and repositioning the country for greatness.”

Israel said this while addressing the crowd at the One Million Youth March staged in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, during his ongoing tour to mobilise for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 polls.

In a statement, he attributed the successes recorded in fighting banditry in the state to the partnership between the federal and state governments.

He said the Governor Bello Matawalle’s administration had “partnered effectively” with the APC-led government at the centre, adding that it was in the best interest of the people to preserve the partnership with the election of Tinubu and Matawalle as president and governor respectively.

“Our party has demonstrated what it means to run a people-focused agenda and it is in the interest of our collective progress as a nation, and your economic well-being and protection as the people of Zamfara, to ensure that we remain in power across all levels of government in 2023,” he said.
