Since the current democratic dispensation, the people of Kogi State have not had it easy, as they have continued to battle all sorts from poor infrastructure to non-payment of salaries. And as if that is not enough, the governor and the senator representing Kogi-west have been engaged in what one could refer to as a battle for supremacy on Monday.  

Already, the state is battling a lot and there is a need for all its leaders to work together for its progress. The current crisis between the two is needless and will not help the state in anyway. I therefore urge the duo to sheath their swords, call their supporters to order and work for the good of the state. 

Kogi ought to have developed more than its current state in view of its geographical location, but that is not the case.
